so I had 550k in stubs today and obvi mookie came out. I know the market will come back up and I bought essentially everything I could without spending more than 50k on a single player (spent 500k) hypothetically if I dont collect them, would you market experts see me making a profit or is this the itme when the market sinks and stays low. sorry for my noobness neveer had this many stubs before

I think it may go up more since people will come home and start buying for their collections. I could be wrong but it would make sense. And the weekend players...

I did some mental math, I could make close to 250,000 on 26 players I bought. basically would consideer never getting mookie though so idk

I made 180K today. I bought a lot of prospects and low gold players in anticipation that the reward was better and prices would rocket up. Of course they didn't and most actually held their value, which was good. So I sold off all my purchases and next thing I know it was pretty good.
My theory is that most people bought more expensive cards or maybe a mix and thought by keeping the lower tier it was better that way to try and complete the cheaper collections, thus not tanking the cheaper cards, which is maybe why my profit was higher than expected. -
I would just get Mookie. I'm in the same position, I'm a few cards away but haven't locked in a lot of stuff so I could sell out and make some profit...But what's the point? I mean unless your team sucks and you could spend the stubs on multiple guys that you would play. But having a sucky team is almost impossible with Topps Now, Monthly Awards, Team Affinity, Dailys, etc all being free. So you might as well just get Mookie and feel like you accomplished something, vs blowing 200-300k on the latest 99 card to hit the market.

I did a mix of both. Also really helped that Realmoto and Lynn still had buy orders over 100k 25 minutes before the asg flash sale started so that made a super easy 80k after tax when I bought them back for 52k.
Basically started with 850k and I'll be over 700k if I sold my hrd/as/milestone investments now (and added a ton of cards to the collection). I'll get mookie tomorrow when the potm is finished

Yeah I have all the mookie cards and if I sold all of them and all my investments I would have around 3 million. But what would be the point of having that much just lying around.
Currently the plan is to cash out my investments for around 800k. Sell all the hrd/asg cards for about 500k and finish mookie when they release the new potm cards. That will bloat me around 750k-1mil with mookie. Then I'll start over

I prepared for this collection and got Mookie and sold everything I had that was extra and still have 600k stubs. I did have to buy a few cards but was close. Flipping silver and gold non LS cards has been where it's at. There are still some cards I could sell and make another 200k right now but I'm hanging on to them for future events ect. I'd say spend a little time flipping cards and finish the collected.
