I've noticed since MLB 20. these new timing window system has ruined the experience of online play. If you queue into a game that's laggy and you facing a outlier pitcher. It becomes a game where who can get lucky. To even have a chance to hit a fastball you have to guess the spot and swing early. This is a game I want to enjoy, but this is a game killer. Its so inconsistent game to game. You can have a game where it feels normal, than play a game where you feel like your underwater and no matter what you do your late on a fastball. Please implement a connection strength at pitchers lobby before you queue. Kinda like on FIFA so we can at the very least queue into a game with good connection. Timing is crucial in baseball games. Please consider.

A ping rating would be amazing.

This would be nice... playing a game with lag is terrible. I tend to cheat the system a little bit and surf the rotation and lineups screens to get a feel for the connection... if it seems laggy, I will back out and try again. It definitely isn't 100% effective, but it helps. I've always noticed in this game for 3 years now that any of the MLB stadiums tend to be worse than the minor league spots.

I 100% do this. 102 FB are frustrating enough to deal with let alone latency on top of it. If I notice even the slightest hint of delay I'm outta there with the quickness

Anyone that has been coming to the forum for years probably knew I would jump in this thread. Been asking for this for years. Hands down the biggest issue with this game.

Played a game last night. Facing Glavine and his sinker looks like Cabrera's. Guy kept throwing sinkers and after several innings I finally sold out and scored some runs. He brings in a 99 throwing reliever and forget about it. No shot hitting it as it looked 120. Think I struck out every time. Was not fun. Luckily, he brought in Gagne and started throwing off speed that I could catch up too. Had he brought in guys like Dibble, Reyes, etc. I wouldn't have had a chance.

Can you add a Ping rating to a game that isn't played on dedicated servers?
