Decided to go into practice

I've been struggling bad the last couple.of day hitting the ball. I decided to go get some practice in this evening. I chose the Giants and oracle park and chose Yaz to hit. Chose a right handed pitcher. I set up for the pitcher to throw the 4sfb down the middle, just to get my timing down. I hit 8 pitches perfect and they were all routine flyballs to the warning track. Does anyone else feel as if hitting has been nerfed, cause Yaz hit one out tonight against the stros in the exact spot 5 of those were hit...
