If your opponent cracks a P/P, check the feedback. It will surely show the PCI right on the ball. Why wouldn't it be accurate the rest of the time? I think the 'feedback isn't accurate' line is just a way of deflecting from HRs that come off weird contact, which might be difficult to explain. Maybe there's a 2D vs 3D explanation that's hard to represent visually on a flat screen, but I don't want to suggest reasonable explanations for representations of non-barreled balls leaving the ballpark.

To me, the PCI should be used as a means to adjust your approach and to analyze your opponent. If I play one more game where a sinker barely touches the outside ring of my PCI and is popped up only to have a ball on the outer ring on my inside PCI to be a fly weak fly out, I am going to go insane. The more I play the game the more I realize that I know exactly what someone is going to do and still cannot stop it or counter it.

What about when you crack a Perfect-Perfect and it's foul by well over 10 feet?
Game is wack.

Well, sure, but the feedback probably shows a square hit. Most of my P/Ps are outs so was just talking about the feedback screen, not the bleep results

why do people still think that good or perfect placement should be a hit every time when all it means is u were not late or early if your BA. is over .300 and you have had at least 75 at bats your getting the proper amount of hit its a sport you are expeted to fail 7.5 out of 10 times with 6 k and if your 2 hits are first pitch contact homeruns get over it
just because you can green 1000000 shots in a row a nba2k and make them dose not mean you should be a .700 hitter in baseball
I don’t think anyone thinks that. I understand not every well timed contact on a ball down the middle should be a hit. The point is way too many of them aren’t. Let’s face it I’m the major leagues if a pitcher floats a pitch right down Broadway most major league hitters, especially the stars most everyone has on their Diamond dynasty squad, if they square that up and time it good they are depositing that ball over the wall or ripping it for extra bases. Not weakly grounding out to short or an easy routine fly out. On the flip side too many unrealistic hits, especially home runs cone off pitches thrown in bad locations and lucky PCI placement. That’s what everyone complains about.

PCI is screwing me, good or perfect timing and ball in is the center of the PCI gives me a fly out with 100+ contact batter. Meanwhile, my opponent PCI is not even close to the ball like a small inch off the top, no-doubter. This happens every game that I play on Events. I feel like I have to bargain for a hit rather it being rewarding.
My pci is bad because I keep changing my starting position trying to find the sweet spot. Oh. And I’m trash. HTH

I know this is maybe the worse advice ever given on this forum but since I was so done, I decided to turn off PCI or fade away all with Zone and it turns out that I actually hit the ball much better. You just have to remember your PCI position and visualize it. If you want to try it, do it and see if it can help.

I tried that earlier. It didn’t help. I’m in a slump. I need to go back to what I’m used too.
If it’s same handed sit inside up and in
Opposite sit up centre high

Try experimenting with different PCI and camera angles in practice with hall of fame or Legend difficulty, everyone has different PCI and camera angle. Try to find yours because only you are playing the game.
If you are in a big slump, take a break and gather your thoughts and get back to it when you are ready.

A few days ago I turned off my center and left the outer on starfighter and I’ve been hitting so much better. I think being able to see inside/through the PCI helped and less distraction.
