I just gave up 5 runs on 5 hits in a BR game and not ONE of the PCI placements were over a 12.
I was going to rage quit after the 3rd bloop hit, but I wanted to see how bad the [censored] show got.
This game is garbage. I really hope they don't just can it again and release the same [censored] again next year and actually put forth an effort with next gen.

Honestly I doubt that but I don't know you from a hole in the wall so my opinion doesn't really matter -

I'm under the impression that if I do exactly what I am supposed to do... weather it's make good contact. or fool a hitter with a pitch to where he doesn't. I feel as in... a video game you should be rewarded more often than not.
Sure, were not going to hit HR's every time we square one up I know that. But to reward such bad gameplay like that is just frustrating. I honestly hope someone else makes a realistic baseball game and SOON. SDS is lazy. They can't even commit to figuring out what to do to avaoid random server erros this far into the game cycle. Let alone the fact we've been playing the same game ( albeit a couple things here and there) for the last 5 years now ??

So I have learned not to take this game competitively. Makes the game so much more fun when you aren't worried about your record.
I had a 10-1 BR run last night and got matched with a WS 12-0 banner player. Probably thought he had an easy game with my 260-200 (or whatever it is) record. Beat him 7-1.
I am the king of giving up bad hits. It is especially bad in BR. Chipper has hit so many non-pci HR's against me I am thinking of just walking him in BR from now on. Again, I think these are connection/server issues and won't change until they address it which will be never. Game works great for east coast streamers so that is who they will cater to. I see more issues in one game of mine around 8 pm central time than an OhChev 5 hr stream. Very well could be server strain when more people get on.

I can admit every sports gaming franchise has gone down hill since the introduction of "Ultimate Team" modes but I will give SDS credit that they at least try to listen to thr fans on some things like the meatballs every pitcher threw last year. Overcompensated a bit with how accurate Pinpoint is but it's the first year with it.
Also playing on BR in all star difficulty a lot more bad swings are going to get rewarded than on the higher difficulties. -

But other than that and tweaking some things now and then when the masses get angry, It's still the same game. hell the commentary hasn't been updated. How hard is that ?
Yes, BR is a total clown show. but this was an EXTREMEME example of how broken it can be.

You can only control what you can control. You can't control connection/server errors. You can basically:
quit playing
play and deal with it
adaptI chose to adapt. I play with different cards. On the BR run yesterday I could tell pitch speeds were changing. There were 3 games where this started happening and then it went back to before. Had a ton of trouble scoring those 3 games but got through it 2-1.

If I am playing anything against another person... I literally can't not be competitive. just how I'm wired. I wan't to win. That being said I don't care about my record if that makes sense I think I'm 93-58? I know I'll lose... I just don't want to LOL

I played major D-1 and professionally in the minors. Do you not think I am competitive? Super competitive but this game will drive you nuts. I've had more fun the last few years not caring. I had to change my wiring. I would love to face these top players in a controlled environment where the players are in the same building. Not going to happen. I think the top players are a huge product of favorable connections and other things. I don't think it is a coincidence most top players seem to be from the coast.
