The BR program is awesome this year, the rewards are 10x better than ranked, honestly. This is the first year I’ve played way more BR than ranked.

Can you explain how it works so easy this year? I’ve always just played ranked because I couldn’t go 12-0

Basically the BR program you need 100 points. You get 1 point per win, plus additional points for stats things during a BR run etc, at 100 points you get the 12-0 pack without needing to go 12-0.

I think it's one of the best ideas they had. I think the ranked seasons program should be a bit shorter or maybe have tiered win values because I'm almost a world series player (usually stall out in upper 800s) and I started at 700 this season. I essentially either have to lose on purpose or get all 40 wins on hof or legend, and frankly the time isn't worth it to get Walker.

    I'd like to see AS & below equal 1:1 , HOF 2:1, Legend 3:1.

BR is the best game version this year. Love the rewards and really the opportunity to use silvers and golds and even bronzes. Feels more validating sometimes to walk it off with Brandon Belt or Brandon Crawford than it does with Acuna/Vlad.

First time playing it as well, so as far as the missions with certain BR players.. it seems those players rarely come up in a draft, and when I do acquire those players through the random draft, opponents tend to intentionally walk or throw at their heads to not let me have a chance at getting a hit. Any tips on acquiring those needed mission players more frequently?

Purposely not draft the position they play is about all you can do to increase your chances

I always put the mission guys at the top.

    1. They get more at bats
    2. Always protect them with your best hitters. I got Santana and Mathews the first run and hit them 2nd and 3rd. Put Harper and Mercedes (I hit like .450 or so with him) behind them.

This is the way, although it doesn't always work and you often end up with a bad team. It's not ideal if you think you may want to try for 9-12 wins. I'm constantly selecting trash cards while giving up BR gods with a lot of power because I'm saving that position for a card that never shows up anyway.

Even if you get the card, there is no guarantee you accomplish the mission. I came within one total base with Eddie Matthews and then got eliminated. Luckily I got him back one or two drafts later and was able to finish it. I got Buhner once but couldn't hit with him at all, so that mission probably won't get finished. I finally got the gold Kyle Seager after being taunted with his live series card a dozen times, and will try my luck with him tomorrow.

I really hope they revise this system next year and give you one silver round and one gold round of BR mission cards. Even if just one of the four slots in the round was a mission guy, it would be nice if you were guaranteed something on each draft.

I was sniffing around the BR Program menus and am tempted to put my feet in the water. I can pitch but my batting can get too inconsistent to do well at this. Maybe I'll try

The BR program is definitely nice. Most the top players are gonna flood it the first week so they can get maximum stubs.

I wouldnt consider myself a good player at all and I'm at 40 points already and still havent gotten the total bases mission done.

It def is doable to get to 100 for even less experienced players

If true that's really unfortunate. I've actually had a couple games where myself and my opponent have mission players and we help each other out. Getting the missions done is more important to me then a W

yea i am honestly lucky to get 6 wins in a run. 12-0 helps but definitely not necessary

I'm not going to lie. Two br seasons ago before the patch, I ran into a super toxic person who needed a HR, and I didn't throw him a single strike or anything close to it. You reap what you sow.
