    Struggling hitting in events.

Ugh…. It’s just miserable outside of low Ranked Squads games for me period online right now.

Always lag. I chase too much. I constantly get the 12-0 banner event [censored] holes in events. I’m a little flustered.

Is there any tips for recognizing pitches? Throw me a curve ball in the dirt I’m such a sucker for it right now.

I also have this horrible habit where I constantly drop my PCI low immediately. I guess I just expect online people to spam me in the dirt I don’t know. It’s just an instant reaction. By the time I realize the pitch is high im always too late or just miss it. I should be smashing the high zone pitches. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

They aren’t. It’s just annoying to play against them when your not on that level. They literally chase nothing even an inch out of the zone. They batter you in the zone.

The goons with perfect connections that never have any lag whatsoever. So, they can eventually have a perfect read on every pitch. Must be great to live on the coast when playing this game.

I'm by no means a good hitter but I went through a big slump where I couldn't pick anything up, was late to every fb and early on all the offspeed... Only thing I could hit was sinker down and away to a leftie.

Made more of a conscious effort for the first pitch or two against a new pitcher to pick out the release point off where it is on the batters eye. With that, and the plane they throw on, just figuring out how it has to come out just to be a strike.

After that it was a matter of trying to limit myself to hittable pitches, not just anything that could be a strike. Just because it might be in the zone doesn't mean it's worth swinging at especially early in the count. It will also help you stay away from pitchers pitches.

Remember, if they live on the edges and you expand your zone, it plays into their hands. You need them to come into the middle by getting ahead in the count.

Also: this strategy was more fun last year with check swings. This year it's unreal with the stuff/velo and command how few mistakes you get. Even then the mistake pitches with the velo and break are harder to hit than years past.
