How much of a grind is Acuna?

Before I lock Cespedes, is it easy to just grind Ronald instead?

If you have all 30 TA3s already it’s not bad at all. First 2 moments a bit long the. They shorten up. Then the stat grind I think too me like 10 conquest games.

You only need the 30 TA3 cards and then 10 moments and some stat missions. None of it is difficult or very long. Depends where you are at on the TA3 grind.

- CPU Game on Rookie in Colorado with an all Home Run Derby lineup and Shohei / deGrom pitching
- CPU Game on Rookie in Colorado with an all All Star lineup and Shohei / deGrom pitching

I didn't lock cespedes I locked both HR derby cards instead... I think he's will hold value longer... I remember last year towards the end they gave me mad free HR derby packs in conquest... So I'm assuming Cespedes will hold more value cause he will be gone soon...

But back to original question... He takes a couple hours... Not bad at all worth not locking Cespedes...

I'm halfway through TA3 possibly further really, is there a new conquest map yet? I've been MIA the last few days.

Nah I did it on the USA map. Plenty of stubs to be made there.

Nah I did it on the USA map. Plenty of stubs to be made there.
Very true, especially since they started giving all prospects for each division and not just one. That's over 10k each pack, then 10 for completing the board too.

I did the same, but would make a recommendation to those that haven't completed it yet. Use a mixed lineup with HRD and 2021 All-Stars, not one or the other. When I did it I had a full All-Star lineup and a HRD bench since I figured it would take me most of the game to get it done. I was done with the All-Star stats by like the 3rd inning as I was demolishing those poor Rockies. I subbed in the whole bench, but I still fell one or two hits short by the time the game ended because I had a lot of wasted at-bats with All-Star guys. It wasn't a huge deal, but it did require me to do an additional conquest game.
Best case scenario, you knock out all the stats in the single game. Worst case scenario, you need a second game which you would have anyway if you chose one group or the other.

Played home and when my all star hitters got their stats, I quit and swapped to an HRD lineup.
I thought about quitting, but the pitcher stamina was high and the confidence was super low. I was hitting homeruns left and right, and I thought I might be able to knock it out anyway while making some parallel progress. On rookie, games can go either way. You could win 3-0 because of lineouts, or you could blow them out 60-0. I decided to keep striking while the iron was hot.

If you want to spend no money, the HR Derby stats are the hardest right now, because you do need to buy them.. on my secondary account, I bought the 4 cheaper ones (still 18k each right now), put all 4 at the top of the lineup, and just played away at coors field for a half inning at a time (quitting and restarting) until I got the stats I needed, then I sold them for a small profit. If you do it that way, Acuna is totally free with just grinding the Free AS Cards and moments

Very easy grind. If you have TA finished it took me around 2ish hours.

It's funny you say that...I agree, BUT...the only Trout I've pulled this year was a reward from a rookie CPU grind game.

Yea pretty similar for me.
Had a mix of HRD/All star guys on my first cpu game. After that wrote down what was left on each mission. Started a game with HRD guys, finished the missions by the 3rd inning or so, quit out and did the same for All Star and was done by around the 3rd inning again as well. Only moment that was a slight annoyance was JT Realmuto homering off Ohtani but still probably took me under 10 min for it.

Easy and worth it. Finished the moments and missions on about an hour. Just play a game on rookie vs the CPU.
Pulled a Vlad and Alonso, decided to go ahead and get Ohtani. Lucky!

If you didn’t buy HRD packs like me, the grind will be long with only one card that they give you early in the program
