Events vs ranked
-
It still amazes me how events play so much better than ranked. I mainly play HOF but events are currently all star, and i started the season in all star for some reason. I faced all star degrom in two ranked games in a row, and two event games in a row (this is gonna happen frequently). I teed off on him in events, but in ranked it was so iffy… SDS make ranked play like events… i dont know why they are night and day different on same difficulty.. makes no [censored] sense.

Events have less pitcher stamina, you have less time to figure out how to pitch your opponent, generally there is going to be more offense.
Not to mention you might be playing lower rated players who might not pitch as well

Events are more enjoyable, no doubt

I have faced many good players in events… world series banners 12-0 br banners etc. that is not it. The game plays smoother. Good pci equals good hits etc in events. Im telling you ranked is so much worse than events

You do realize all 3 innings events are considered clutch time right? Its basically 7 8 9 innings of ranked games. Clutch ratings come into effect and quirks

In the past I played ranked seasons but now I am playing more events, it's quicker to get in-game and play them rather than play all 9 innings. I only wished you can save your lineups in events.

Events on HOF are the most fun for me. It forces you to use different pitchers or hitters and maybe both instead of your God squad. Most importantly, I don't really have the patience to play a full 9 inning game. Some people love those and it makes sense, but I prefer 3 innings.
