Card-art not showing in-game

Why was the decision made not to display the card art in-game??
Other than showing in the intro lineup screen, it's not easy to know which version of a player it is, and not nearly as cool to show off which card you have..
Would be nice to have that added as a graphic to the bottom right ticker..
Thoughts? -
It is indeed attached to the bottom right scorebar...press R2.
