Do gameplay sliders effect teammates hitting?

I have my sliders nerfed pretty hard to make it challenging and not just hit .350 every year. But my teammates aren’t hitting anything when I’m on base. All weak pop ups, strikeouts, choppers. Is there any way to make my teammates drive me in more frequently? Could CPU sliders help the AI teammates?
