Tips for Making The Jump from CS to WS

Any tips for making the jump from CS to WS?... Other than throwing cash at a <1ms monitor?

I keep climbing to about 870 then gave a WS guy on legend and get beat.

I have gone into practice mode with an edited roster than had a pumped up Edward Cabrera to practice against that I typically warm up against before jumping into a game.

I have issues on legend with recognizing strikes just because of the reaction time required at those pitch speeds vs 102 FB and 98 MPH sinkers is difficult but also with the size of the PCI being miniscule.

I just keep crapping out once I hit approx 870 and face a 900+ player on legend.

Any recommendations of what I could be doing better or how to get there?

Since you don’t have a monitor, I guess be selective, work counts and attack hanging offspeed

I say try to guess better. I'm terrible though and will probably never get close to WS so my advice is actually not very relevant sorry.

Be patient in AB's to recognize pitch sequences or consistent locations of certain pitches. That also helps to get into their bullpen

I was in your position, unfortunately, it takes a few breaks to go your way, and as people mentioned, and preach (and i suck at it) patience... Movie TV GAMING on youtube did a video which kind of helped me.. working counts to two strikes, unless the pitch is down the middle.. These days, make sure your line up can mash lefties, as you're either getting a lefty or Cabrera.

A monitor is not gonna change your ability to recognize pitches, you’ll just see more frames as it blazes by you. I’m on a Samsung 4K tv, with Xbox one S, and I don’t see the need to enhance anything about my setup. You need to look for your pitch, be patient, don’t get bent out of shape when things don’t work out. Pitching is going to be the bugaboo because guys can smash and all the big time cards are insanely Op.
