Online pausing

The pause timer doesn't make any sense. The guy I was playing paused at least 20 times and it took over 3 minutes. Adding back the same amount of time each new pause makes zero sense.

I’m ok with dudes pausing to go get a beer. Not cool with the pausing every other pitch. It’s like bro, what are you doing that makes you have to pause and make this take longer?
