DD Roster Inconsistency
-
I was just noticing how SDS seems to be extremely inconsistent with switching players from a team’s roster to “free agent”. For example, Corey Kluber is on the 60-day DL and currently listed as a FA in-game and he is expected back in August or September. Tyler Glasnow is on the 60-day DL but is expected to be out all season and is still a Ray.

It most likely has to do with whether they have the rights to the replacement player. They aren’t going to put someone on the team that isn’t. They have to have 40. So my guess is they already have the rights to the Yankee and not the Ray.

Angels have Taylor Cole in their collection roster, and he’s actually not even in the org. While Matt Thaiss is on the 40 man (in triple-A), but in the free agent collection. Makes no sense lol

Yeah I have no clue on this. Looked it up and Cole elected FA in 2020.

They just simply don’t do a good job with rosters and positions. That’s the way it is.

I can't explain all of them cause some are definitely bad but my guess on the Kluber/Glasnow one is that they aren't gonna move a diamond to the FA section
