Lineups change every time I make a roster move and CPU makes their own roster moves on my team
-
I have been trying to play franchise since release date and have found it unplayable. I have my settings set on MANUAL for roster moves and setting up lineups. The CPU decides they feel it’s best they make the decision and completely scramble up the lineups and rotation I have set up. I reset my lineup to my liking and then BAM the CPU makes another roster move and sets the lineup how it wants it. It completely messes up the flow of franchise because it’ll have players that you want in the minors a little longer come up for no reason and it’ll bench the rookies that I do want to play. I have never had this problem when playing franchise and hope it gets fixed. If anyone has any advice on how to fix this problem I am all ears.

I don’t have any advice, but I’m in the same boat as you. The CPU is handling Scouting, Lineups, etc; when I have all the options on MANUAL.

Hey. Just found this in another thread. It works. Best of luck.

I've been pulling my hair out since day one with this game. No matter what my settings were, the cpu would change my lineups, pitching rotations, rosters, you name it.Well, I figured it out and I feel like an idiot.
When I would go to user settings and make all my changes, nothing would take. What I neglected to notice is that I was not making the changes on the preset I was using. I was making all the changes on the casual preset and then playing on simulation.
If you're having similar problems, make sure you hit the lb/rb or r1/r2 buttons and actually change it to the correct preset and then you won't feel like a [censored], like myself.
