most people were still playing on all star difficulty so there is no way they had enough analytical feedback on hof and especially legend difficulty to justify the hitting change. The biggest blunder with this hitting patch though imo is the amount of good okay feedback hits when the ball is engulfed in the pci, it makes no sense now
