Can I please get a 2017 Altuve?
Since 2011 Braun is in the game

Aaron should get a 2017 card too. Although I still stand with Altuve getting the MVP

I think there's actually a good chance we'll see both an MVP Jose Altuve and a ROY Aaron Judge.

We got a 2017 altuve last year... So yeah you will probably get one.

Judge was better than Altuve in WAR, OPS, OPS+, HRs, runs scored, and RBI. The decision to make Altuve MVP over Judge is one I legitimately do not understand.
Also please don't think I'm trying to knock Altuve, dude is good, but the decision is one of the more controversial that I've ever seen when it comes to MVP voting.

Same Reason for light penalty for cheating probably.

He got my vote cause he was consistent year round, I don’t recall a slump by him that year at all. Was on fire until late July/august? Maybe early September, altuves consistency with Correa, Springer on the IL that year stood out to me.

It was a 2016 card which I definitely wasn’t complaining about, but I think a 2017 card would have just a tad bit more pop and vision.

Mentioning 2011 Braun made me think you were gonna ask for, Sosa or McGwire, Clemens ect.
Don’t stop there. Let’s get an actually Barry Bonds. Not like a Reggie Stocker, Joe Young, etc

I think he has your vote because you're an Astros fan. Judge literally outplayed Altuve in almost every offensive category.

I’m a cardinals and Astros fan. Judge hit a wall late in the year which lost him the mvp. I remember cause I thought judge was going to win till he slumped heavy in august.

Yeah I remember that; he was on his way to Bonds/Big Mac territory and then limped to 50 HRs the last few weeks.

Thats a fair point, Judge posted an OPS of .680 in August, but counter point being Altuve posted an OPS of .865 that same month, which is good, but Judge finished the season with a month of September that was just unreal. A 1.352 OPS, which was .500 higher than Altuve in the same month.
While Altuve was more consistent, Judge finished the season with one of the best offensive months any player has ever had. If he continued that stretch of average play in August, I'd probably agree with you, but he did the opposite and almost doubled his month of August.

And while I do concur you are right, judges stats hold more weight, for me personally and this isn’t a bias although it does seem like I am right now. I think altuves consistency was just more valuable to the mvp. I even thought Votto should’ve won over Stanton that year too. I’d say the worst voting was the early 2000’s voting of mvps and cy youngs. Tejada over A Rod?
