I'm confused. How is this better than actually playing the game?

Wanted to see what all the fuss was about with the Ballplayer XP Glitch. So I decided to make another account to try it.
Didn't want to do it on this account because I'm sure there will be repercussions later. And I could just delete the new account.
Anyway, not sure if it was because the Ballplayer that I made was only a 58, or if it was because I started out with a Bronze Loadout; but after 90 mins of 'playing'; I'm only at 78/100 pts.
I did 'earn' 10K on XP. But I'm pretty sure if I would've just played 90 mins of Conquest; I could've made that much, if not more, in XP. Plus I would've made stubs and got parallel points towards my team.
So, how exactly is it 'better' and 'faster' to sit there for 90 mins hitting two-three buttons every couple of seconds than actually playing the game how it's supposed to be played?
Don't get me wrong; I'm not asking how to 'exploit' better. I'm just trying to wrap my mind around how someone can do this for HOURS just to get a head start on a Program that 99.9% of people will complete within the time allowed.

And I even think these 'big games' you sometimes get aren't actually doing what you think they're doing.
I had a game where it showed I had 101 hits out of 108 ABs and I gained 5pts.
.
I went from 67 to 72.All I had left to claim points was plate Appearances (Tally 24 for 2 pts) and Hits (Tally 8 for 2pts) Both were repeatable. So if I had 108 ABs, at 2 pts per 24 PAs, that should've been at least 8pts. And 101 hits should've been 10 pts. That total would've been 18pts, yet they gave me 5.
Again, not complaining and not trying to see how to exploit better. Just trying to figure out why people do it.

I dont know what glitch you used, I didn't read all that but I created a small park, put it on beginner and just whacked homer after homer. Before the first season was over, I was a diamond player and ready to use and he is my best player.
Didn't take that long, probably close to what you did for time, 90 minutes. Maybe a little longer but I only hit too, no fielding or running and on fast play
-
It's not a glitch. You can just Sim games in rtts. Nothing glitchy about it. Not an exploit either. It takes time and you can only do so many. They cannot come back and punish you for something that they designed even if they didn't mean it that way. No one would have a maxed out ballplayer if they had to actually play all those games.

Its not a bannable offense since its literally in the game. Its not a cheat. If you want a ballplayer for your squad its worth it. You upgrade your player and gain good amounts of xp. If you are doing it just for xp its boring and a waste in my opinion. Definitely not bankable thats how they made the game

You can get "the hawk" from bronze to diamond in about 5 hours. That will get you a 99 SS with equipment

Ok, so I labeled it wrong. But the main reason for the post is how is it 'better' to do this than to at the game?
I mean if you do this for 10 hours straight, you could get to 350K. But if you also play regularly for 10 hrs straight; I'm sure you could still hit 350K, plus get stubs and parallel progress. No?

It’s a free and easy way to have a 99 OVR switch hitter with any stance you want in your lineup at literally any position. That’s why people do it

This is the answer. If you don't want a maxed out ballplayer there's not much reason to do it. Its boring. I got a maxed out "the hawk" SS and he is my best player.

Doing the rtts sim has gotten me to 350k xp in like 3 days the last two programs. For XP, It definitely is better than just playing.

This post is deleted!

You probably didn’t use the correct rosters for obvious reasons. You can get about 250 hits in a game sometimes, most of which are XBs. PS5 load times make it completely broken.

How do you sim and get xp? Do you just go to the calendar and sim, or do you actually get into games?

I used the ones that are from LSC.
I had two out of 30-35 games where I 'scored' more than 40 runs.
But as I said, both times even though I have over 100ABs and over 100 hits, it only gave me a 5 pt boost in the reward path.

Go into a game, hit play appearance then exit and sim. All your stats will count in whichever archetype program you have equipped. 1b is good for putouts and assists.

That is because the stats cannot turn in game. So once you hit the 24 AB's or whatever, it stops tallying until you start a new game. Same with XBH and other stats. So you can only hit those once in a game. This also happens in TA innings or hits or whatever. If you need 5 more innings to complete the innings requirement or 5 more TB to complete TB requirements, 145/150 for example, and you have 50 innings in a game or 20 TB in a game, you will be at 0/150 for both Innings and TB when you start a new game instead of 45/150 and 15/150.

Ahhh. I did not know that. So technically getting all those runs is just a waste.

There's an easier way. Download a roster from LSC. It's call RTTS Grind. It has all the players stats decreased. Load that roster after you select your Loadout and say you want to play for the Rockies.
You then need to sim to AP 7 and decline being a two way player. Then when you select to play your games; as soon as you see the stadium come into view hit start. Then go to Exit. Select Sim and Exit. Then once it starts summing hit 'O' to speed it up. Rinse and repeat. -

Doing it the regular way went by really fast so I’m guessing this will let people really fly through their archetypes.

You're earning rewards from the XP program as well as each Archetype program which also leads to stubs.
Thats why, you can easily profit 50-60k with just a few hours of sim.
