Yeah, it's a rant. These two modes are, to put it simply...UNPLAYABLE! Starting pitchers with even the highest amount of stamina die after 3 pitches, their control goes out the door, and then comes the beachball PCI. And for some odd reason, the more tired your pitcher is, the smaller the hitters PCI gets. I guess I kind of get it, but I honestly don't think it's a contact hitting issue.
I think the feed back is so screwed up right now that it's what is causing half the freeze offs when a pitcher is injured, 102 Mph sinkers for silver cards, guys getting extreme exit velocity boosts with a [censored] launch angle and PCI placement, etc. What you are seeing is not what is actually happening, and it's really making this portion of the game not very satisfying to play at all. I honestly hope they do something to make it smoother and better. And hopefully the 3rd inning showdown will appear tomorrow (if even at all) without and expiration date of 6/30/21, but that's probably pushing it.

And people so set why I play offline
I can't earn anything offline. Besides, Rookie v.s the CPU has kept me to less than 8 hits per game with maybe 4 runs scored. I usually come out on top 30-0 with a perfect game to boot. But when I go into a BR session, I can't win to save my life because every person I play has a beach ball sized PCI and their pitcher throws EVERYTHING like your playing against someone on Legend....it's a friggin joke!

Tin foil hats. If you’re losing consistently in these modes than look at your game play. Even an average to bad player can win a 3 inning game. Is it cheese? A lot of times it can be. But either learn it or don’t play it.
Ummmm,,,,yeah it is cheese when in the many weeks prior it wasn't a problem at all. The game play has changed and people are not being quiet about it, so take your foil hat comments and go else where.

A person mad that they changed the sliders in such a fashion that garbage players have glorified stats where they don't deserve them. Never have given up a home run where the ball was tiny dot and the opponents PCI was the size of the entire strike zone...It's a problem. Quit stroking your ego.
