CAP getting started

So I have played the last couple years, but got a late start this year. Seems like the create a player within diamond dynasty is a bit different- do I need to create him through rtts? And then does he progress as I play him through? Thanks for any help/advice.

You don’t have to buy it helps. You can hit the touchpad and create him there. Then you can hit square and it will show you how the missions work and what you need to upgrade him. However, he won’t get fully maxed out unless you play rtts with him.

It is overly complicated for sure.
