I just pulled Acuña Jr. Keep or Sell?

My current center fielder is 42 series Willie Mays so Acuña Jr would be an upgrade. But that 242,000 stub buy now price looks so good to try and sell the card. Any recommendations on what I should do? Thanks.

I’m leaning towards keeping. I’ve yet to try Glavine this year. Last year I had the Atlanta Braves Trio early on in the game and he was nice.

I wish. Acuña is the last card I need to complete the AL but I’m stumped on finding ways to make that many stubs fast. Can’t get 12 wins in br to save my life and I’m waiting on this next roster update to see if my investments will be profitable. If only I could just pull that dude.

Glavine ain’t all that at this point and is getting to a spot where he has one foot out the door of the rotation and only worth doing for the big trio and Acuna ain’t all That. Sell him and get Fernando and tatis or something. Maybe Baines. Of course this is all without knowing your team.

I would sell him. I dont care about the collections anymore. At the rate we are going we will all have 99 rosters in a month so whats the point. I've switched from trying to finish the collections to seeing how many stubs I can accumulate. Sitting at around 700k currently.

I’m terrible at collections. Any stubs I get I try to sell off cards to upgrade my lineup. Maybe I could try completing the NL now since the big fish has been caught. Good luck getting Acuña Jr.

If you need Acuna to complete the AL; you're not completing that conference. Lol

Yeah seeing your lineup I'd say definetly sell him. Buy some great cards off the market that aren't super expensive. and start grinding TA2 because your team will get 100x better

Yeah you’re probably right. I’m so torn on the matter. But it would be nice to upgrade the team all around.

240k is so many stubs that you can do a lot with, just don't buy packs

My man my opinion Acuna is an easy sell. Unless you’re just playing with people that you like. TA2 is your answer. Unfortunately I can’t go into the exchanges because I’ve done them and as much as I hate throwing away stubs you can’t get back I would do the collection(with non sellable or the cheap cards only) and exchanges for all the TA2s. Maybe somebody can do the math and the cheapest route for you or you can look online. I wouldn’t think it would cost more than like 100-150k. And even though just losing that and can’t get it back it sucks it will get you to 70 on all of them which will net you 54 TA packs back, all 30 of the flashback and legend diamonds, and one big TA card per division(I would suggest Groshans, crochet, huff, Cabrera, priester and Bichette)
Maybe you get lucky out of packs but they do suck. Then I would take a few days offline (depends on how much you play) do the moments for each set. Brings you to 80. Then load up in the diamonds and do the missions while running the 3 conquests. If you can complete a lot of missions(let’s say you get 5 per set done) and the conquest this will put you at 130 per set.
If you can do that you will net 114 TA packs and 18 BIAH, plus all the tons of packs you get from conquest, plus all the legend flashbacks, plus 4 of the TA2 from each division. And a lot better team. All for maybe 60-70% cost of acuna, not counting the stubs back from packs plus whatever else you can sell that you won’t use no more. Again not sure exact price for all exchanges but that’s just my long [censored] opinion haha.
PS if you go this route be very careful not to pick dupes out of the packs
PSA even if this route cost all of the Acuna stubs and even slightly more this is the route I would go. As it will net you 100k+ back without even pulling anything worth a [censored] and 54 diamonds plus real close to 6 more and won’t take more than like 10 hours offline gameplay and the cost of Acuna. Just make sure you take your time and get the cards with buy orders.

GG. I just bought Acuna last night. I need DeGrom, Freeman, Strausberg, Soto and Turner to get Glavine. I'm back up to about 70k stubs, so not too far from DeGrom.
Funny too, Acuna is amazing. I played some conquest with him last night and he was 7 for 7 with 7 hrs in his first at seven at bats. Everything he touched went into the atmosphere.

But to answer your question: Do you want to finish the LS Collection and if so, how soon do you want to complete it?Judging by your lineup, I can assume that you don't have alot if the KS Diamonds. Especially Trout, Bellinger, Mookie, Cole,, etc.
Also, is the Xander you're running the LS version or the TA 42 version?
If you don't care about the LS Collection right now; I would sell. I would assume that later in the year all these high prices LS Diamonds will drop in price.
Also, with the 200K you would get (roughly) you could work in Team Affinity
Let's assume you're at 0 for the TAs
If you didn't do the Exchanges in TA 1, you can do them. And the same for TA 2.
TA 1: If you buy 72s for the Exchanges you can get them for 25-33 stubs a piece. You would need 150 72s and about 5-6 63s to get each Division done. That would be around 3500-5K. You would get 30 points and would make about half of your stubs back with the stub rewards you would get along the way. (And anything you would get from selling off any cards from packs) The 30 pts you would get would bet you one of the Gold YA cards you need to complete missions. Then I would do the Conquest Maps for each division.
As for TA2: If you do the Exchanges, you would need 300 72s and about 10 63s (would cost about 9-10K per Division( to get to 60bpts, I think. That would get you two of the lower Diamond players and one if the Final Diamond players. .
I would also do the Collections where you collect 20 FBs and Legends. If you did ALL the TN Moments, the April MA program, and gave some of the Legend/FB Inning henchman; you can knock these out fast.
Then I would just do the Conquest Maps, loading up on those low Gold and Diamond players.and the high Diamond player to knock out Missions
Probably within a few days you can have a solid team FL of Ayers that are better than what you have now.

I’ve learned that lesson. I bought a 75 pack bundle once this year already. Not a good purchase lol.
Free packs have been my golden eggs this year. I’ve pulled Story, Darvish, and now Acuña Jr. on free packs.
