As the son of a Vietnam Vet, I respect the hell out of this day. But you could have just said that at the very beginning instead of dragging each consecutive post out to make it seem like SDS needs to do something just for your satisfaction.
This is why I [censored] hate social media gatekeepers who jump all over peoples' shite if they don't mention the troops or anything pro-'Merica without it turning into a "_________ HATES THIS COUNTRY!"

My mistake on this post. Maybe next time I will think about Lincoln's Letter Not Written. When Lincoln was upset at someone he would write a letter and never send it. Next time I will not post on a baseball forum, I will just write that letter.

Just write out the whole message in the first post. "Any Memorial day content today", "does SDS normally do Memorial day things". You acknowledged that your post would start an argument and being vague to start didn't help.

OIF, OEF vet here, Memorial day isn't a " happy day" not your fault for saying it, it's just how it's portrayed, but us Veterans, especially combat vets don't enjoy or celebrate this weekend the way most do.
