Okay, maybe they're not exactly the same, but I feel like it was kind of an odd choice to put out these two diamonds so close together. The 94 does have better contact and vision, but not by a huge degree and it actually has worse power. Fielding and speed are pretty comparable. The 3rd base eligibility is nice on the 94, but comes at the cost of 1st on the 88. I feel the same way about the new Ripken. Sure, it's a little better I guess, but I don't see the point.
It's not a huge deal and overall I think SDS did a great job with the content for today, but I would have preferred different cards taking those spots in team affinity 2 while we wait for the 99 versions of Ripken and Aaron.

I agree but only on the attribute distribution not the releasing of a 94 overall
