I'm overwhelmed...

I love the amount of content dropped but to be honest, I feel so overwhelmed. I'm able to play 2-3 hours/day and I prefer to play RS but I feel that if I do, my team will be obsolete in a couple of weeks. I had a great team a couple of weeks ago but will get killed with the same team in a couple of weeks. I get that the player skills makes a difference but my 87 hitter will be nerfed when he faces a 97 pitcher with stats jacked up.
I think my max RS will land between 650-750 (thanks pinpoint!), will I be able to complete at that level if I don't grind for all these jacked up cards?

Identify weaknesses and play to address them. There is also a lot of content you can get through offline play that will set you up for success online.

A good idea for you might be to find the one specific division you think will help you the most, not one specific player. It’s about as easy to earn the last 4 cards as it is to earn a new one in a new division, so don’t worry about earning everything, start small, pick on division with at least 3-4 players you really want and focus on that.
Try some showdowns, spend like 5,000-10,000 stubs on exchanges and it shouldn’t be all that tough. RS grind got a buff as far as earning TA points as well, once you have some of the silver and gold cards half way through, you can play with them while doing the conquest and get lots of stuff done at once.
Just try focus on one specific division efficiently as possible.

I feel the same; by the time I’m done grinding offline I barely have time to play online and/or grind online; I have to play RS with division teams to complete TA instead of best team possible; showdown is an hour (lost last night 12-12 ugh) so if you miss that’s an hour I could have grinded through Conquest or RS. Decisions, decisions, decisions... Have TA ALE, ALC done, almost done with NLC, way behind.... at least every possible Moment is done but the TN every Friday sets me back lol

Very good advice thanks! I'm not even done season 1 yet! I guess it's somewhat face when you do the conquest and missions at the same time. My best bet is probably to just do what I enjoy, it will take longer but at least I'll enjoy my time!

Yeah, I'm not a big showdown fan but if I don't complete it, my controller doesn't like it!

The play mission for season 1 is 250 inn with those players ,for season 2 it is 100 plate appearances.you ll be working on both at the same time.
Also if you have stockpiled FB/L there is a 10 pt collect for 20FB/L from that division. -

Yeah it’s a great choice, fill up your team with guys you like and more players will come. I only suggest using the mission cards if you choose to do conquest, cuz you get a few extra points, it’s not a huge difference.
I’d also suggest you completely ignore season 1 at this point. The fact you can complete 2 without 1 is a huge bonus for people that don’t have as much time like yourself. Don’t stress over those missions, showdowns, or conquest, just the new ones.

Last year I tried to get everything done, I flipped, I grinder every program, and tried to get the best squad to play rs. The problem is that I never played rs because I was always grinding and I was never going to make WS anyway.
This year with the cumulative rs reward and the way TA is organized, I just play rs and stack my team by division. I start with silver and golds and just play the cards I earn along the way.
It has been a lot of fun.

Grinding BR at the moment but that's my plan after. I'm afraid I'll burn out if I only grind. Must be very hard to use silvers/gold in rs?

It doesn’t last long because you unlock cards along the way. Also, I do find that I don’t get matched up with “god squads” very often. I just have to face buxton in lead off every game.

Last year I felt completely overwhelmed too... so much content for those of us who aren't all-stars and only play a couple hrs a day. I would play more than I actually wanted to try grind out every card to get the best team.
This year, I'm taking a different approach. Go for the players I enjoy playing with, and just have fun. I'm not nearly as stressed this year and am enjoying the game more, even though my team isn't as good and my record probably won't be either.

As long as you're enjoying yourself. It starting to feel like a chore, I'll definitely change my approach to the game. I've been lucky with pulls and I'm almost done the ls. I was thinking of not doing it but it would give me some very good players. I'm pretty a team with ortiz, soriano, trout, chipper, glavine and others could hold their own. I could then use the stubs coming in to get other players to complement without having to worry about grinding.. -
