Live Equipment/Uniform Updates

Do the updated jerseys/caps/accessories/equipment get added into a pre-existing offline franchise mode? For example, I noticed in my franchise that the Mother's Day & Camo batting gloves were added to the equipment options for players but not the Camo hats that the league was wearing recently. Just wanting to know if this applies to new uniforms that teams wear throughout the year if they are not currently in the game?

My question was more if jerseys get released later in the year that were not in the game to start with, will they be updated to a pre-existing franchise save or would someone need to restart their franchise in order to be able to use those jerseys. Other games ( Mainly NBA 2K ) allow this to update into an offline franchise even though it's a "Live Feature" .... Wasn't sure if this has happened in previous years? I play on XBOX now and haven't played on PSN since MLB 19.
