BR FREEZE OFFS

I haven't played much BR in the past but gave it a shot this year and in 2 runs they have both ended in freeze offs. It happens right after I score or get hits. I'm thinking that its my opponent raging then glitching. Does this happen to everyone? I really don't want to waste my time if I'm gonna get glitched for taking the lead.

I'm also not gonna let my console deep fish fry waiting for him to disconnect.

Let me know so I can restore faith in the mode and try to win some rewards or play something else. Thanks!!!
