Extra Inning Games

Is there a way you can play your friends team in extra innings? You used to be able to find a team and play vs them but I can't figure out how to do it. If I go into extra innings under single player mode, it just shows 5 or 6 God squad teams that you can play.

Anyone know if this is possible or did they remove this?

They removed it most likely because stats count in that mode now. You would just have Yetis grinding all over again
