Man some of you guys are soft.. Go play madden and see the unrealistic catches you make, or NHL where all kids do is go back door. [censored] even 2k with these unstoppable step backs. The point is it’s a [censored] video game and just because your PCI is in the middle of the ball doesn’t mean it should go out of the park every time. If you can’t handle that type of [censored] and you take it to MLBs twitter or forum to complain, you probably shouldn’t be playing the game.

I think what we all want is some type of consistency with what happened based on our input.
It’s just too random at times I suppose. Still overall like how the game plays this year online

Hey I agree with OP and this is a game and I feel like it is fun and realistic. I know I'm a "new" guy. But I used to be a "sim" guy for madden too. At some point you have to accept it is a videogame and it is a REALLY GOOD representation of baseball. Perfect contact does not and should not mean a HR every time.
I'm no game developer, nor do I want to be one. I think they have made a great game that is fun, and good balance.

It's not complaining to point out that hitting this game is broken and makes no sense. Saying it's 'just a game' doesn't excuse the fact that you winning or losing is determined by the game and not your inputs.

So my fielders not being able to throw the ball from the outfield isn’t a legit complaint. This glitch happens way to often on Xbox like once a day almost

There is no input scheme that allows control over every aspect of a swing, nor can there be; even with perfect input on zone, you're getting help from "the game" in determining the path of the bat through the zone and the angle of the bat head as it hits the ball.
Good results just make you feel better as compared to the bad ones that make you feel as if you were cheated out of something... but it all makes perfect sense. The game compensates for that which you cannot control, and it chooses out of necessity, almost randomly (pitcher / batter stats affect the roll), how that works out for you.
Either way, it's still a complaint.

Agreed... I don't even complain about it either, but I wish it was more consistent because then it would feel less random win or lose and would be more fun and feel more rewarding. I still like the game though and since the servers have been fixed can't complain at all.

Let us aim higher than madden. I think the game is alright it’s just a casual experience. If you think you earned those 8 straight foul balls before that homerun early without touching the pci than I don’t know what to tell ya.

Feeling the need to make this post would warrant calling you "soft".
It's fairly obvious you are seriously butthurt over the games mentioned and now you're attempting to get some dignity back by insulting people on this games forum.
