Base hit up the middle. My opponent throws the ball in to cut off man and he throws to first where my player evidently rounded the bag then just stood there.
First quit of the year after 58 event games. Get your chit together SDS

I let lots of chit slide. Getting thrown out from the outfield on a single isn't one of them.

They do that at other bases too, and the cpu has thrown out 5 at 2nd and 2 at 3rf for me cause the runner goes 15-20ft past the bag,. round it , yeah but only a couple of ft. not 20

Boneheaded CPU base running decisions like this have been an issue for years, so the fact that this version of the game just came out is irrelevant. SDS either doesn’t know how to fix it, or they don’t care.

I don’t know how you guys can grind events so hard. I saw 40 wins for Felix and decided not to play a single event game. I think there is another diamond at 80 too. No thanks!

OP getting thrown out at first cause your player just stands by the bag happened to me a lot last year. So doubt they will fix it this year. Just terribly unlucky, never happened to any of my other friends.
