first off, i just got the game 3 weeks ago(xbl, never played before) and didn't know what i was doing mostly, 2nd, im not good at hitting, 3rd, i did a lot of challenges, moments etc. and got 88 ovr and above players. I started ranked play. The players i have evidently put me in way over my head and although this may be weak to you, was placing me in the 400 to 500 level when i should actually be 0 to 100? level. i didnt know acquiring ovr players who were 88 and up would put me in a harder league. i noticed this when another friend started dd ranked play and their level was starting from 0 to 67( i never saw this)...how do i fix this to be in the level i can actually compete ? all i play is against teams with ovr's of 95 and up. i hang with them for about 5 innings then they start hitting bombs which seems to be the only thing opponents are good at. I lose games giving up 7 hits and 4 of them are bombs lol. im 11-26. I hate seeing this everyday lol.

so can i create a 2nd team with lower players to place me in a lower bracket until my hitting can get better? any non trolling advice would be appreciated.

You can make a new team but unless you start an alt account your going to keep the same record and face tough opponents. I started playing online in 2019, I’ve played the show for years but never online. I took my loses and just played as much as possible to get better. I don’t have a true god squad which is usually a team with no card less then a 95 overall, and I beat opponents with better teams. By the way in the show it’s homerun or bust, it’s been that way since I started playing, you don’t really manufacture runs

The rank is whatever you've played. When you start you start as low as possible and accumulate points for rank but don't lose points until you hit 400 I think. So if you're there, you've done enough to get you there unfortunately and will be stuck there. Just keep trying and sooner or later, things will click and you will start to do better. Patience and trying to not be frustrated are very key at that point
