....The run you need to take the lead and win crosses the plate before your final out is recorded, shouldn't that be a Showdown win?
I can't believe I lost vs Shane Green in the Affinity SD to Sportscenter Top 10 plays and what happened at the end. Franmil hit a pea that hits Greens buttocks. He picks it up but the run to win scored before he threw to first.

No because the batter needs to cross 1st base to count the run unless theres more outs.

Crazy.A force out at first for the final out cancels the run. Same thing to end an inning, doesn't matter if the runner crosses the plate first, the batter has to be safe at first.

If it were a tag play and not a force out though you actually would have won but force outs cancel any runs
