Issue selling cards

I'm trying to sell some cards i know i won't use. However, when i go to create a sell order, i get an error message stating the player is currently in use and has to be unequiped in order to sell it. Tried it with 4 different cards, none of them have been added to a collection, or are on a squad. Anyone else having this issue, or know how to fix it? Any help will be appreciated.

Haven't played any online events. I had restarted the game multiple times and the issue was still ongoing. I logged in today and was able to create the sell orders. Weird.

Even if you don't play events, it still creates a team for you and you have to swap players out
You probably could sell them today bc the event changed, so those players you were trying to sell were no longer eligible

I am trying to sell a card who is parallel 1 and is not in any collection, squad or event but it’s says event on him so can I still sell him. The card is 98 JT Realmuto and I pulled him out of the all star series pack???
