Pitching control nerfed?

Not sure what is happening. Since this game came out I have had no issues with pitching at all.

I used meter or classic and sometimes pure analog. Not tried pinpoint yet.

Since the recent patch my pitchers control, in conquest in particular, is gone.

What is odd is if I go practice it feels like before the patch, even when warming up when you bring a reliever in I have great control.
Then in game the pitches are flying all over the place and no rhyme or reason, hold the button on classic for timing and the pitch can go any direction and change any height from pitch to pitch. It wasnt pin point before but if I was missing spots by a few inches before now I am missing spots by feet.

I even assembled every pitcher I have with the highest pitch control ratings and it makes no difference. I pitched just as wild with Pedro as I did with Skubal in play now using my scrub team vs the AI.

The problem is going to practice doesn't help because it works fine there and feeling great during your warmup and locating fine doesn't matter once the game begins again.

I noticed the same thing, also seems like a lot my good swings are resulting in weak fly balls after that last update , that’s only in conquest that I noticed that

Yep I have hit a whole bunch more harmless ground outs to 1st. Again just in conquest. Went out to practice and it's not happening.

Go into conquest and Biggio is perfect perfecting a ground out to 1st. Sucks when you hear that sound and feel it on the PS5 controller and then go oh, just about the worst hit in baseball.

The pitch control though is rough. The AI is feasting on my "mistakes".

Pinpoint has been solid for me. Others feel wonky. Especially meter.

Yeah I need to go quickly learn pinpoint because this is maddening.

The ball is just moving all over the place. If you told me the patch accidentally made all pitchers have 0 control I would believe it.

Not sure why pitch method makes it better but I know coding can be a jumbled up mess where changing the outfield sign at comerica can change something somewhere else.

Need to test this pitching more but it's been every single conquest game since the patch. I felt it a little in a play now game vs the O's but that was the first game I played post patch and thought it was just Skubal having issues.
