I’m pretty sure you need to “redeem” them at the console now. Because of cross-platform, they have the differing balances for your stubs and need to know where to put the stubs before allowing you to spend them.

Thats what I was going to say, you beat me to it.
The stubs have to be redeemed at the console this year. Sucks but you won't have them until you get there.
