Forfeit screen while playing

I just played an rs game where the accept forfeit screen popped up while we were playing. I didn’t hit square but played out the next two batters with the forfeit pop up still on screen. I don’t think I could hit pause or anything, but I was able to finish the inning. Then, when I was up I was able to pause and the screen went away. For the rest of the game my opponent only had 30 seconds when it paused.

I reported a bug, but wondering if you’ve seen this before. I think I saw a post about this before.

FYI... I was road team in KC stadium in the rain. Wondering if that has anything to do with it.
