42 Series Pedro

I picked him as one of my two pre-order Diamonds; but, I sold him after a few starts when he hit around 33K.
I've been wanting to get him back and was hoping that they would release more packs.
But they haven't, yet, and he's been fluctuating between 30-40K.
When do you think I should grab him?
I'm thinking of waiting until I see if they release any packs in the program tomorrow, but by then he could jump in price.
Right now I could probably get him for 30K.

Up to you, if anymore 42 packs come out eventually his price will go down obviously, but who knows if/when that will be. Overall I think the prices will go down on those over time though because of better cards coming out as the season goes on. But if you want him and will enjoy playing with him go snag him.

I personally wouldn't worry about getting the 42 Pedro unless your trying for the set, if your just looking for a great pitcher for relatively cheep i would go pick up the Orel Hershiser because he has nasty stuff and people hate facing him.

I can see those packs becoming awards moving forward in programs, they kept them exclusive the first month but now they’ll probably make them more available.

They’ll definitely be cheaper at some point, just a matter of when. I sold all of mine ahead of the 2nd inning release just in case

Supply and demand - if you aren't able to get him in a pack or in a program his price wont go down much then what it is now. He was available for pre-orders now you cannot get him unless through the market. They wont release more packs - 42 cards in total represent Jackie Robinson's number - keep in mind this is not the highest diamond Pedro you will see he will have a 99 card at some point as will all the pre- order releases

There were 7 pre-order Diamonds. After a month or so, they released them in programs and Conquest maps. They eventually dropped to 5K a piece.
I may just grab him. I need SPs and I can use him on my All Red Sox team.

2nd inning will have preorder packs in conquest or through the xp path. Patience. Your in a good spot right now. Eventually SDS hands out preorder players like candy.

Haha, I just bought Orel based on your comment. I forgot he was out there and got him for 35k.
