Directional hitting tip
-
First off I don't use Directional against other players (rarely play online anyways). Just trying to get the damned Dejong 8TB done.
A few years ago I seem to remember the tip being "point at your inner shoulder and press square". The problem is it's a sinkerball pitcher 3/4ths of the ABs. Should I point low? I keep getting 1 HR then warning track shots the rest of the game, or embarrassingly weak grounders.

Since moments is its own seperate game mode I sometimes use directional on Rookie and Veteran difficulties while aiming up with the left stick to try to hit a fly ball
Then if it’s All-Star and above I switch back to zone and try to time perfect -
Give your balls a tug & use zone.
