$1500 - To get Chipper by putting in sell now orders. Never paid buy it now price for any card & never bought a single pack.

I am afraid to put in buy orders right now because of the possibility of losing stubs if I cancel it, lol.

Its around $1300 to complete the entire live series. Im about 400 in and have the al west and a few other teams done. (Not counting the teams that anyone can do for 10000 stubs) but I dont use real money for collections. I just buy packs because I'm a sucker for regret and self loathing

The game ($100) and cards ($650) netted me the entire collection. I have tried to pack the big cards in the past and spent way more. This time I bought a couple bundles early when commons and bronzes would net a big return. I grinded and opened free packs as well. I pulled Betts, Cole x2, Bellinger Judge x2 from packs. I knew Trout and Acuna would go up in price so I bought them early. Wait for speciality packs to drop and buy live series cards when everyone else is selling them cheap. That savings adds up.

I played a few guys with a perfect team. One was too good...it didn't make sense, but the other ones were absolutely terrible.

Having a full team of dudes with 100 plus contact and power is a fairly large advantage in the upper difficulties.

Most people probably spend around $800-1000 to get it. There’s a lot of free stuff in the game too.

Oh yea for sure. But a lot of these dudes come from madden and 2k where they drop a grand at the beginning of the game and can’t even get the best cards then when more cards come out they have to keep dropping money. This is a drop in the bucket for them.

Ive always wondered why SDS hasn't upped their rip off the customer game in DD?
Are they just good people or what?
Im guessing they make 1 percent as much off of packs and what not as Madden and 2K.

Would be pretty easy to have collections done by now by just playing and doing modest card flipping. Even if I had the money I couldnt spend a whole bunch knowing all I had to do would be play for a little while and can get the same cards free. But I never judge for spending money. Its your money.

I'm done spending money on the game. Maybe once in awhile I'll put some in. But with most diamonds going for less than a 10 bundle, I dont see the point. I already have trout. And the only card I want is bellinger, which I could probably get by selling the thoudand commons I have accumulated.
In the beginning it made since because even your low diamond cards were selling for 40k.
