PCI off is great advice. I never really like any of the SZ views. I always feel like I cant judge low pitches as well. Strikezone 3 isnt bad. This probably wont be a hot take but fish eye 2 is a pretty good view. It's height is positioned perfectly so it's easy to tell if a pitch is going high/low/inside/outside. It's also pretty easy to pick up the ball out of the pitchers hand

I agree. I switch between fish eye 2 and catcher high

To me there are only 2 options if your goal is to compete online. Strike Zone and Strike Zone High.

Anything else is fine if you play casually or in the lower tiers, but once you start playing HOF and Legend, other camera angles put you in a disadvantage. Does that mean you can't hit the ball or win games in the higher tiers using anything other than the 2 options I mentioned? No. But there's a reason every single top 50 player (probably even top 200) uses one of these 2 options, that's not a coincidence.

But at the end of the day you should always stick to what you prefer. The game is also about having fun, and there's no reason to use Strike Zone camera if you feel you "have to" in order to get results but don't enjoy using it.

That’s why strike zone cameras shouldn’t be allowed. The strike zone is basically the size of the screen and takes away from the pitching. If the ball is not on screen, then don’t swing. It’s lame and looks ridiculous on top of that. All you boys getting a close up of the batters hang down must really get you in the mood.

To each their own, but what you say about the ball not being on screen if it's outside the zone is not true at all.

Can you adequately measure your batters junk?

How is that weird? I’m not the one choosing a camera view to get a better look.

Fish eye, fish eye 2, catcher high, wide. Those strike zone cameras shouldn’t even be allowed.

Strike zone 3 shows the entire batter. It's pretty close to wide. I use that because I like to see my players swing animation.

Ok. I’m fine with any camera that shows the entire batter. Any camera that lets you examine the batters cup size is too close.

Been using offset zoom for the past year. I find it's a good balance between being a closer-up view and also being able to see your hitter (strike zone might give people a slight edge but it looks horrendous). I also like the fact the camera is a bit offset. You really feel like you have an advantage when your hitter is the opposite handedness as the pitcher.
