RS pitcher stamina

Any reason why, if a game lasts only 1 inning, my pitcher’s stamina is depleted for like 3 more games?

They decided if a pitcher throws a pitch they get fully drained to make it stamina management

Isn’t this lack of stamina management since it doesn’t matter how tired my pitcher gets?

They implemented this at some point last year to ensure that certain pitchers (Kluber) could only be used for 1 game and then you HAD to rest them despite of how many innings the game went. That way you have to use your entire rotation.

Once your SP makes an appearance, he immediately loses half his stamina. It helps combat guys that were bringing in multiple SP’s out of the bullpen.
