Why is every AI scrub pitcher like Maddux??

Painting and dotting at will, they dance around the line far too often for #5 pitchers...and every fielder is Jim Edmonds in the OF apparently

I also notice the AI having really good control this year compared to previous years
I don’t mind it, when I play the cpu I won’t get into auto swing mode. Keeps your eye trained/fresh
I think they did this to make the parallel grind against cpu a little more challenging, for those that may like to parallel cards offline

I agree with you. It gets annoying when you’re really needing a run or hit but you don’t see anything hittable
Is what it is, but I usually never struggle to score runs against the cpu unless on legend so I’m not impacted too much by it

Lol understandable, against cpu I try to never swing at the first two pitches
Call me crazy but against the cpu I swear you don’t get normal exit velocities squaring up the first 2 pitches of an AB
