Seems like CPU diving tendencies are not behaving in a realistic manner.

Im seeing guys like JD Martinez, who are below bronze defense, diving and catching balls as frequently as gold tier defenders. It really seems like the diving tendency depends more on the ball location than the players ability.

Its one thing if its player controlled, but when playing the CPU, one might think these far below average defenders should not be making diving catches on a regular basis. They probably shouldnt even be diving for balls. Thats an act of athleticism that should be reserved for the highest tier defenders, or at least weighted heavily towards them.
