Basically the same thing. 17 didn't have as many issue with logging in, losing stubs or cards, but for about 3 months you had to worry about if your game counted or not

[censored] 3 months!!! Hope thats not what we are facing this year. What caused it? This year cross play has to be a key contributor, but what changed 2016 to 17

They claimed online franchise caused it but I'm not sure that is true. 17 was the first year they really started pushing DD with the inclusion of Griffey. DD never really caught my eye until then and I'm certain many others are the same way

Then you had 2018, which in terms of content and structure was by far the worst MLBTS yet. “Immortal” players with absolutely ridiculous grinds. Souvenirs like jerseys and caps you had to buy and sell in large quantities... but you weren’t allowed to equip any of them. Sadistic ‘Moments’ like “Get 2 XBH in a game with J.P. Crawford” and “Get 4 hits in a game with Daniel Nava.” That year absolutely sucked.

Yeah I remember the year that they introduced legends like 99 babe Ruth but to get him you had to collect 100 jerseys and other stuff. That's probably about when I decided I was done with dd. I thought this would be a good year to get back into it. Also I remember getting stubs for your career stats. What happend to that? It was always nice to have those rewards and trackers.

While the career stats were nice for trackers the stub payout was very minimal compared to what we get now
