I only have some 42 series and golds but saved up 350k stubs. Go for trout or get acuna, soto, etc?

Go trout. Acuna and Soto will be obsolete in a month. Trout will be solid 4-5 months.

If you have the stubs to get Trout, get him now.

I would just have fun with the stubs. Find several players you think are upgrades and put in some orders (not buy now, be greedier than that). Try them out and if you don’t like certain cards, sell them (often for a profit) and repeat. My roster is always churning and that’s the fun of DD for me. Trout seems like a lot to me and I think he will be cheaper as the season rolls on. Without the CP bonus for the Live Series collections this year, it’s a lot harder to rationalize going for those right now.

I did the NL West collection and have no regrets. You get Betts, Bellinger, and Finley in the OF. You get an infield with Helton, Tatis, Story, and Machado. You hold 4 diamond starters. You get Gagne, Hoffman and 2 solid gold rhp arms in the pen. Basically, you get a complete stud team and move closer to Soriano.
