Flaherty or Castillo?
-
So I am about to unlock my first 42 series pack from the NL Central and my rotation is probably the weakest part of my team. But, I am having a hard time figuring out who to take. Flaherty looks like he has a better pitch mix. Castillo throws harder and a nice release. Any of you guys used one or both of them or even faced them? Which one would you rather not face?

According to a highly-trusted Youtuber and top player (CBrev), Flaherty is one of the worst performing diamond starting pitchers in the game. The reason why I would assume that he is right is because all of his pitches are either 92 or 81mph. This has a big impact on how well most people do with pitchers in this game. He also said that Castillo is one of the better diamond SPs because of his primary pitch being the circle-change, which is quite rare. Couple that with Castillo being able to throw much harder and I think the decision should be easy unless you're really comfortable with Flaherty's delivery/style.

I haven't watched CBrev's stuff in awhile. Guess I will have to trust you and him on this. Castillo just joined the rotation.
