Legend/ Flashback collection players

Since you can’t get XP for locking in these collections and only get a max of 200 stubs for locking in players for some of the collections, is there any point in keeping these players we earn through the first inning program? I’m thinking of just picking the most expensive and selling them right away, unless I’m missing something.

For when the release that collection reward later, yes

That’s true, that usually comes quite a bit later in the year. Trying to build up stubs NMS for live series collections. I used to automatically lock them in for the XP but as far as I can tell, that isn’t a thing anymore.

See last year's Trout Program

It depends on your preference really. Yes, they aren't needed for anything right now unless you want to use them for your team. They don't get you XP, so that doesn't matter. But, yes, eventually mid-summer or so there is generally a collection reward with one of the best cards you'll see all year. At that time, if you haven't been saving these cards, it will be pretty expensive to buy them then and fill out those collections at that time. Some you might not even be able to get at all. We had that happen last year.
So, it's your preference. Do you want to be richer in stubs now for your team or to do LS collection, or do you want to be prepared later for a big collection reward.

Just sell them and restock in like 3 months. Otherwise Pedro and Gwynn work great for the exchanges. Half price silvers

So you guys are saying that the card that dropped today the Padres guy can become rare later on and could be a missing card to a very pricey set?
-
Not so much the Padres guy, because he's a headliner and they end up giving a lot of those packs away. More the bronze, silver, gold cards that are in the different programs that expire.
