1st Baseman Doesn't Cover 1B on Groundball

What the title says.

1. Grounder hit up the middle, 2nd baseman fields it, 1st baseman standing still where he was before the pitch.
2. Extra innings, runner on third, 2 outs. Groundball right at 3B. Throws to first, 1B stops halfway to first without covering.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'd like to upload to YT but I'm not fond of linking my PS account to Google given Sony's security issues in the past.

No, only thing I noticed was I tried to recreate the throwing out the runner at first on a liner in RF by diving with my 2nd baseman but it seems the 1B steps off the bag this year
