IV Lee Smith

Has anyone used this card? I picked him up for my All Red Sox team and used him in my last Conquest game.
Was using LS Barnes as my Closer.
Barnes was 6-6 on saves with an 0.00 ERA.
First game with Smith I end up giving up 2 back to back Homeruns after having a 2-0 lead.
Needless to say I sold him back.
Small sample size, but 5K for a Gold is to much to have him give up 2 straight Homeruns.
