Swing Timing Late

I have been playing MLB The Show ever since the 2018 game on the ps4. I recently made the switch from PlayStation to Xbox series S. And every time I would normally swing it’s too late, I have to swing the second the ball leaves the pitchers hand it’s ridiculous. Is anyone else having this problem or is it something with my controller?
