Players to beat Conquest?

Okay. So over the last two days, I’ve played a variety of modes from moments, to showdown, to the little conquests. Here’s my current squad with 90k stubs
82 Will Smith
1B: 84 Nate Lowe
2B: 81 Gleyber Torres
3B: 84 Wade Boggs
SS: 83 Carlos Correa
LF: 84 Marcell Ozuna
CF: 88 Ken Griffey Jr
RF: 85 Roberto ClementeI have two questions. Is there anyone that I could acquire that would help me in the big National conquest as well as the team affinity ones?
Also - some of my guys have a green up arrow with a number under them... what does that mean? (I.e. Gleyber has a green 85, Ozuna a green 87, Smith a green 85)

Welcome brotha. No names I could give you this early but make sure to use more power lefty’s.
The arrow is called Inside Edge. Makes card go up or down depending on current games being played

Two gold level guys that can be had cheap that are monster at the plate are Jordan Alvarez and Gleyber Torres. I had about 15 home runs with each of them on my national conquest map play through. And they were cheap to get. I see you already have Gleyber so maybe try Alvarez too.

The green arrow is inside edge. Live series cards can fluctuate depending on how well a player is doing in real life. Some days inside edge is way up and sometimes its down.

Your team is plenty good enough to beat the USA map, even moreso depending on the level you're playing the Stronghold games. Some of the map is "repeatable" this year, so it's actually worth playing more than once. I'm determined to get ALL the projects this year. No more "Finding Joe Adell BS"! By the way, Jasson Dominguez is RAKING!

Do the Moments! Yermin Mercedes, Ryan McMahon, and Dylan Carlson are all very good. The missions aren't terribly hard. The McMahon 3 XBH is easier than it seems.
